Arquitecto licenciado pela Universidade do Minho em 2004.
Entre 2004 e 2007 integra o ateliê do arq. João Mendes Ribeiro (BigMat International Architecture Award 2017, categoria Reabilitação; Shortlist RIBA International Prize 2016; RIBA Award for International Excellence 2016), em Coimbra.
De 2007 a 2018 é colaborador em Vinagre & Côrte-Real – Planos e Projectos, no Porto.
Paralelamente, desenvolve investigação académica em História da Arquitectura.
Em 2008, frequenta o curso de formação especializada “Fundação e Conquista: a cidade portuguesa no Novo Mundo”, na Escola de Arquitectura da Universidade do Minho (EAUM), integrando, em 2011-12, o projecto FCT/CNRST: “Villes et architectures d’origine portugaise au nord du Maroc: Asilah et Qsar es-Sghir”. Em 2015, torna-se mestre pela EAUM com a tese “O Castelo Português de Alcácer Ceguer. Transformações morfológicas nos sécs. XV e XVI”.

Architect, graduated from the University of Minho in 2004.
Between 2004 and 2018, he works at the office of the architect João Mendes Ribeiro (BigMat International Architecture Award 2017, Restoration category; Shortlist RIBA International Prize 2016; RIBA Award for International Excellence 2016), in Coimbra (PT), then at Vinagre & Côrte-Real, in Porto (PT).
At the same time, he develops academic research in History of Architecture.
In 2008, he attends a specialized training course in History of Architecture “Fondation and Conquest: the portuguese city in the New World”, at the School of Architecture of U. Minho (EAUM). In 2011-12, he participates in the FCT/CNRST project: “Cities and architectures of portuguese origin in the north of Marocco: Asilah and Qsar es-Sghir”. In 2015, he gets the master’s degree in Architecture from EAUM with the thesis “The portuguese castle of Alcácer Ceguer. Morphological transformations in the 15th and 16th centuries”.

Entre 2004 et 2018, il est assistant au sein du cabinet d’architecture João Mendes Ribeiro (BigMat International Architecture Award 2017, catégorie Rénovation; Shortlist RIBA International Prize 2016; RIBA Award for International Excellence 2016), à Coimbra (PT), puis Vinagre & Côrte-Real, à Porto (PT).
En parallèle, il développe la recherche universitaire en Histoire de l’Architecture.
En 2008, il participe au cours de formation spécialisée en Histoire de l’Architecture “Fondation et Conquête : la cité portugaise dans le Nouveau Monde”, à l’École d’Architecture de l’Université de Minho (EAUM). En 2011-12, il intègre le projet FCT/CNRST : “Villes et architectures d’origine portugaise au nord du Maroc : Asilah et Qsar es-Sghir”. En 2015, il obtient un Master en Architecture de l’EAUM, en présentant la thèse “Le Château Portugais d’Alcácer Ceguer. Transformations morphologiques aux XVe et XVIe siècles”.
